Gouda by Bennuendo Gouda by Bennuendo
This is a combination of the chalk pastel portrait, I recently drew of the person I'm seeing, and the poem I wrote for her, and a couple things that relate to the poem.
Gouda is a nickname I gave her a while ago, and I'm not 100% sure why I did, but the quartz and other rocks pictured are things her and her son found when they visited me, and I cleaned them up for her before bringing them to her. And then that's an "eternity rose", which is a preserved rose which can last up to a year, in her favorite color.
I presented the picture/poem to her as I drove to breakfast for us, let her read it and explained each section to her, as I revealed the rocks and the rose as well.
She gave me a hug while I was driving, so I think she liked it, and hopefully she knows me a little better after that.
